As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) I have helped people at each stage of mental health treatment. This spans from acute psychiatric hospitalization, non-profit community mental health, multiple residential treatment facilities to government agencies. My private practice focuses primarily on treating adolescents and adults with complex trauma, dissociative disorders, PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, relational issues, mood disorders and performance enhancement. I am available as a mental health trainer and consultant for organizations, including business development retreats.
I am currently pursuing continued education and specialization to become certified in the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), which is the cutting edge and gold standard of trauma therapy along with performance enhancement. It is an advanced technique that incorporates many body based disciplines into one discipline and addresses the unconscious ego states/ parts that hold the behaviors that create challenges in relationships.
The therapeutic process is one of illuminating the beauty of becoming whole by honoring the overwhelming feelings of brokenness we all carry. We don't ignore the devastation of suffering and trauma. Together we invest in the intrinsic healing process that opens us to the joy of fully existing within the present moment.
Additional areas of focus: Stress, Anxiety, Addictions, LGBT, Family conflicts, Intimacy-related issues, Parenting issues, Self esteem, Career difficulties, Bipolar disorder, Compassion fatigue, Abandonment, Aging and Geriatric Issues, Attachment Issues, Blended Family Issues, Caregiver Issues and Stress, Communication Problems, Dissociation, Drug and Alcohol Addiction, Emptiness, Expats, Family of Origin Issues, Family Problems, First Responder Issues, Forgiveness, Guilt and Shame, Infidelity, Isolation/Loneliness, Life Purpose, Men's Issues, Mood Disorders, Panic Disorder and Panic Attacks, Postpartum Depression, Post-traumatic Stress, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), Self-Love, Sexual Assault and Abuse, Sexuality, Women's Issues, Workplace Issues

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Vanessa Reinarz. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Vanessa Reinarz makes it atop my gratitude list every morning. She cultivates and holds a place of safety for all of my emotions and parts of myself to be experienced, and it is tangibly changing how I show up in the world. Her therapy is deeper than talk therapy- she infuses somatic practices and unique therapeutic modalities to help deeply process and move the trauma that may be stuck in our body. It is such a gift to work with her and I plan to continue working with her for months to come.

Vanessa is wonderful. She really listens to what I say and what I don't say. She's very respectful and makes sure I am ok or need to talk more at the end of the session. I feel as if she really cares about what I'm going through.

Vanessa is incredible. I look forward to our time together every week. I find myself being calmer and more rational now that we've been working together for a few months. I've recommended her to friends because she's amazing. Very kind, intelligent and the best listener. My favorite thing is she MIYAGI's me and I don't even realize our therapy sessions are working until after it works! My life has changed so much since our work began.
