Varayna Cordell

About Me

I am a licensed therapist in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Georgia. For over 10 years I have worked in multiple settings and with people from varied backgrounds facing many different life stressors including anxiety, depression, substance abuse and relational conflict. In addition to providing individual therapy, I have conducted therapeutic groups, worked with children and families, and in multiple settings including community centers and inpatient facilities.

My counseling style focuses mainly around cognitive behavioral therapy to improve the thought processes that sometimes hold us back from living our best lives. I also incorporate holistic and solution-focused techniques as needed and attempt to keep the therapeutic process open to find what will work best for each client. I believe each person already has what is needed for their own personal growth and see my role as facilitator on your journey to positive change.

In my spare time, I am an avid baker, enjoy hiking with family and friends, and love spending time with my two nieces and nephew.

Varayna is an amazing counselor! She was very flexible with scheduling, really listened to what my concerns were, and helped me develop strategies to become a healthier, more self-compassionate person.
