My goal is to help others grow, regain peace, joy, and healing in their lives by providing nonjudgmental counseling, empathy, encouragement, and support to achieve wellness. I believes in working collaboratively with you to help you define the tools needed to overcome obstacles, deescalate situations, make better choices and negotiate positive outcomes to be the best you can be.
My approach is partnership. The client and therapist decide together what are the major issues and how to work on through them together. Please be aware working on emotional issues can be painful and you may feel even worse as you confront your past and present conflicts as you journey towards wellness. During the therapeutic process you will identify troubling situations, be more aware of thoughts, emotions, and beliefs about problems, identify negative and inaccurate thinking and reshape negative or inaccurate thinking by learning coping mechanism so you can move toward a healthy and fulfilling life.

Veronica is a kind person who listens and challenges you to. In doing so, you learn skills and how to cope with the troubles you may face.
Veronica Johnson was always very kind and showed lots of empathy. She also pointed out many things I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. I recommend her service!
She is amazing! She has really helped me understand my goals and offers the support I’ve been needing during these times. I’ve been able to bring out a better side of me and with her help I can see a brighter future ahead for myself. She listens, she understands, and offers the right advice in helping me reach my goals. Veronica is very kind and helpful. She has been a sounding board and support during a time of transition. I appreciate her willingness to support me beyond our weekly meetings.
