About me

I’m Vickie Hyman, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State North Carolina since 2000. In August 2021, I also became a Certified Life Coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, low self esteem, relapse triggers, motivational barriers, relationship issues, career challenges, and financial obstacles.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. My approach combines reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to foster increased insight to accomplish desired goals, while promoting self-awareness. Through an environment of honesty and respect, a move toward change is possible.
Thank you for allowing me to take these first steps with you. I look forward to working with you.
