About me

Hi there! My name is Victoria Blaylock and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Illinois with 8 years of experience working as a clinician. I have worked with a wide variety of client populations facing various concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, issues with self-care/self-esteem, and LGBT-related issues. I have also helped many clients who have experienced issues with adjustments to life changes.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I enjoy getting to know my clients on a deep personal level and providing as much support as possible through challenging circumstances they may be facing. I also enjoy helping clients discover their own personal strengths and talents which can be transferred and developed into potential coping skills. My approach is trauma-focused and empathic and I combine cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic counseling in my work. Our dialog and treatment plans will be tailored to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage and strength to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards healing and making changes. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Fantastic therapist, she really helped me find a new peace within myself. Listening and giving great advice, a new perspective and also different options for issues I've had in my life.

Thanks to her, I have more of an understanding relationship with my mother and have learned to grow past our differences.

Wishing Mrs.Baylock nothing but the best in her future, her help will always hold a special place in my heart.
