About Me
Hello,
I am a psychotherapist in California where I have been practicing for over 10 years. My approach is to understand and see you as a whole person not just as a person with a problem. I have a warm personality and a good sense of humor and I am not easily ruffled. People often tell me things that they say they have never shared and I believe this is because I am non-judgmental and know there are many legitimate ways to be a satisfied and effective person in our society.
Much of my work has centered around issues that women and LGBT people experience, and I am particularly experienced with challenges that women have around the many life changes including pregnancy, childbirth, post-partum depression and menopause (just to name a few).
While I don't believe that a person is defined by their diagnosis, some of the diagnoses that I am most experienced with are depression, anxiety, and addictions. That said, my experience is that most of us just don't 'feel right' and are not always sure exactly what is going on or we aren't quite ready to talk about it. What I am really good at is getting to the bottom of what is needed for folks to feel supported and like they are comfortable to start working on what's going on. Finally, I deeply understand just how uncomfortable it is people to talk about things and I'll never pressure you to talk about something unless and until you are ready.
This is about forming a partnership that works for you!

Victoria was a wonderful introduction to therapy, she really put me at ease. I tend to ramble a lot and she let me do that without any fear of being judged. Unfortunately I moved states so I cant continue working with her. I truly recommend her for anyone wanting to try therapy!
I have only had one session with Victoria so far- but I have enjoyed her energy and where she has shown up for me so far. Excited to work with her and looking forward to my next session.
I’ve never had a therapist that was so experienced with LGBTQ issues as Victoria. I feel truly understood, and talking with her is easy. She’s been incredibly helpful to me, and I’m very grateful and excited to continue working with her!
It was great working with Victoria. We covered dating, body image, and family relationships. Sometimes we got more serious but she had the ability to keep things light when I preferred that. Thanks Victoria!
I have been working with Victoria for a couple months now and I find myself looking forward to talking with her each week. She is laid back and easy to chat with. I trust her with my hardest-to-tell stories, but also feel comfortable just talking about the day to day stuff. She has put in a lot of effort to get to know me over the course of several sessions together and I especially like that she always respects my truth and makes me feel like my emotions are valid.
I had switched to Victoria from a previous counselor so my expectations were at the start. However Victoria exceeded my expectations by providing thoughtful and supportive words when I needed them most. My time with her was unfortunately not very long but in the time I did have with her I felt like I had progress in some of the issues I was having. I'd gladly recommend Victoria to anyone in need like I was.
Victoria has been wonderful from the very first message we exchanged. She approaches all of our conversations with kindness, care, and expertise. I couldn’t ask for more.
