Welcome, if you are here it is likely that something has prompted you to take an active step in achieving life-balance and mental wellness. I am happy to support and help you during this process! I am Victoria Johnson and I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida with 3 years of experience and over 10 years of additional experience in mobile crisis intervention prior to obtaining my licensure. I am also a certified clinical trauma professional. I have worked with clients on a range of issues from depression, anxiety, and relationship problems to trauma-related concerns. I also have experience working within the LGBTQ community. Prior to entering the counseling field, I spent 15 years in law enforcement and I specialize in treating first-responders, veterans, and their families.
I believe in a supportive, relaxed and friendly counseling environment where we work as a team in sessions. I use an eclectic therapeutic approach, with my preferred therapeutic approaches being reality therapy/choice theory, positive psychology, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I believe teamwork is essential since each individual is unique and they are the true experts in their own lives, needs, dreams, and goal. Because of this belief, I focus on empowering and encouraging my clients to discover their individual strengths while offering support and assistance so they can learn the skills they need to overcome whatever adversity they are experiencing and achieve their goals and improve their mental wellbeing.
My office hours and availability are from 2pm-4pm EST.

Victoria was able to listen to my concerns and immediately offer support and actionable steps. I appreciated the weekly goals we planned together as it gave me what I needed to keep moving forward. She was patient and allowed my needs to drive our sessions as opposed to trying to just diagnose and tell me what my focus should be on. I am grateful for this platform and Victoria!
Victoria is a great listener and she really helped me put things into perspective and focus on my future.
