Hello and welcome!
I get it. With anxiety we often feel overwhelm, panic, stress, like we want to run away. With depression we have no motivation, no desire to do anything and if we "force" ourselves to get out there and "do something" we end up regretting it. And when these issues affect our relationships then everything seems wrong. If the life you want, the goals you have, the relationship you desire, seems too far out of reach or too difficult to achieve therapy can help. Besides anxiety and depression I also specialize in interpersonal relationship problems, issues of self-esteem and self-worth, and therapy for healthcare/patient care workers.
Depending on your particular situation therapy can be just a few sessions to address small issues, or for larger issues can be more in depth over a series of sessions. I use tried and true programs such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength Based techniques.
You will find me compassionate, down to earth and friendly. After a thorough assessment you and I will develop a treatment plan together. We will build on your strengths so you can gain confidence as a foundation in finding new ways to handle life's challenge. During our time together we will continue to assess and develop a strategy of treatment tailored to your individual needs. It may not be easy, and it may not happen overnight, but I assure you that the ability to change and grow is within yourself!

Victoria is great. I am going through a difficult period trying to re-adjust after losing my home in the Camp Fire in Paradise. The grief from this type of event is a bit different than other types of grief and Victoria is helping keep me focused on steps I need to keep moving forward instead of wallowing in my depression and despair.
