About Me

Hello! My name is Victoria Reyna. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Great State of Texas. I have 3 years of experience under my belt working with a variety of clients from 4 years old to older adults all dealing with different issues. I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, compassion fatigue, career counseling, parenting, self-esteem, substance use, family work, couples, adjustment, crisis and loss. I have a special interest in working with parents of children diagnosed with ADHD. With a ADHD diagnosed daughter of my own, I have experienced and continue to experience the very steep learning curve involved with loving a child of ADHD.

I graduated with a Masters of Mental Health Counseling from New Mexico State University in 2017. This is where I first started my counseling experience working with university students navigating their novel and stressful world of young adulthood. I was very blessed to have the opportunity to work in a variety of places during my graduate program including an elementary and early college high school, each with its own unique challenges. I've also had the privilege to work providing mental health services to First Responders and their family members. As a Firefighter spouse myself, I am very familiar with the unique culture and stress it entails.

My approach with clients is warm, calming, client centered, and solution-focused. I have found incredible joy in discovering new and creative ways to connect to the array of clients that I have worked with. I enjoy empowering my clients to see the control they have over their life and encourage them to accept the things that they cannot.

I look forward to working with you and helping you get to where you want to be.

She’s amazing. I’ve had several counselors in the past and none of them really clicked. Vanessa was great front the very beginning! I didn’t expect to have this much significant progress within a month. She’s a wonderful communicator and I definitely recommend her to anyone!

She is helpful, direct, understanding, and friendly; honestly everything you could ask for when looking for a therapist! I can honestly feel drastic improvements in myself in the short amount of time we've been communicating. I highly recommend her to any one seeking help!

Victoria has been amazing. Not only does she listen and truly make me feel heard, she makes me see different perspectives which have been so helpful. She also makes me feel like I’m not alone. She is extremely professional, responsive, and easy to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to do therapy.
