Hello! My name is Vincent Pietropaoli, but please feel free to call me Vinny. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, and I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have more than five years of counseling experience working with individuals of all ages and many presenting problems. I have the most extensive experience working with people with mood related problems (such as: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and others) and those who have experienced traumatic events.
My approach to therapy begins with the person and grows from there. It is important to me to develop a close therapeutic relationship focusing on a person’s multicultural and social identities. With a foundation and better understanding of one's worldview and experiences, working toward agreed upon goals in therapy is a more fruitful and collaborative process. Depending on an individual’s unique issues and experiences, I tailor my treatment modality to fit them. I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I also have experience with interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) and interpersonal and social rhythm therapy (IPSRT). My “therapeutic toolbox,” as I call it, has many interventions and techniques from which I can pull to help explore and process through many different situations, dilemmas, and problems that many arise in a person’s life.
I aim to provide a safe, judgment-free environment for you and to help you work through what has led you to read my profile. It is not easy to seek therapy, and the fact that you’re here is a testament to your strength and willingness to try. That is a great start! I look forward to working with you.

Very pleased with the counseling I am receiving from Vinny. I’m learning and shifting in the direction I want to go. Very happy.
I haven't been working with Vincent long, but the time we have worked together, has been impactful. I've had counselors and therapists in the past, and Vinny is in my top 3. He listens attentively, shows concern and gives good feedback.
Vinny is very helpful in helping me work through my thought processes during a hard time. He provides supportive feedback and pushes me to examine my thoughts in a different way. I love the worksheets and insight to view my experience in a new light.
Vinny is so kind, he always makes sure to address every concern you have, without treading over your thought process. He will help you make revaluations about yourself that you have never thought of before.
This a such a great service and I'm super thankful for it.
Great listener and very flexible with meeting times, even adds additional if needed. Very nice and genuine person, doesn't try to rush or impose himself on the sessions. I feel like I make significant process whenever I'm in sessions with Vincent.
Vinny is an amazing therapist! He cares deeply and is such a great support.
So far Vincent has been an excellent match for me!
Vincent (Vinny to his clients) speaks to me like an old friend. Warm, friendly, and definitely caring, I have found CBT through him thus far to be really helpful. As a certified counselor, he goes above and beyond to share the knowledge he has with his clients and offers different strategies and goals as ways to get you to your results. Yes, there will be worksheets, they are mainly there to guide the conversation and help him focus where you need him to. Overall my experience with Vinny has been 5/5 stars!
I have only had 3 video sessions with Vincent Pietropaoli but he has given me the tools needed to getting over anxiety.
Vincent provided a space that challenged me and allowed for collaboration. He provided knowledge on CBT that was very clear and concise and provided worksheets that helped to break down different patterns and ways of thinking about situations. Highly recommended as he made the video screen feel like we were meeting in person.
