Are you striving to thrive and struggling to get there? Do your thoughts and worries keep you up at night? Has life not turned out to be what you expected? You've come to the right place. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, and have over 9 years of experience working with a wide variety of concerns from anxiety, stress & worry, trauma & abuse, depression, grief & loss, to relational and communication issues, work & career challenges, and low confidence / self esteem. I have also helped many folks with creative blocks, personal growth, spiritual crises and issues, and those in life transitions. I have a special place in my heart for those that reach out, look at what's not working and try to make it better.
You'll find me to be calm, caring and accepting. I think it's very important to respect others, their experience and meet people where they are with sensitivity and compassion. So, your dialog and treatment plan will be as unique as you and your story are. As a Holistic Psychotherapist, I work from a strength-based perspective, which means I want to find what is right with you and build on those strengths. It also means that I incorporate tradition talk therapy methods (such as cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, psychodynamic, gestalt, humanistic, somatic awareness, transpersonal, and positive psychology among others), with alternative healing methods (energy psychology, meditation, guided visualization, therapeutic breathing, and nutrition as pertains to the brain). This integrated and balanced counseling approach summons the strengths of all your parts to meet the challenge in front of you.
It's courageous to seek change, growth and deeper satisfaction with life. I'd like to empower and support you in that journey if you are ready to take that step.
I look forward and hope to be working with you soon!

Vivian is a thoughtful, compassionate, funny and helpful counselor! I would highly recommend her to those seeking to develop more insights into their own behavior and skills for dealing with life's stresses.
I think Vivian is a critical component of my being able to maintain my mental health. If I didn't have her guidance, I think I'd be in despair, unhealthy. She has given me tools and support, and a shoulder to cry on. A vault for my darkest thoughts, as well. Thank God for her, and for BetterHelp.
Vivian is kind, understanding and really listens to me without dismissing my feelings. I was worried at first about having a connection with someone just via email but I feel like she has my best interests at heart and she helps me when I need her. She is great!
Vivian saved me. I went through so many therapists before finding her, but I’m incredibly grateful for this platform for bringing me to her. She listens, responds, and has really helped my progress from anxious wreck, to a more confident human. Thank you, Vivian. You’re amazing.
First time trying counseling online. Vivian is very comfortable to talk with online. I’m usually a people person but with the Covid-19 stay at home order, it has worked out well.
Having Vivian there to help me through this time is great. She started with helping me with my wife's passing but has been there to help with my emotional concerns while we go through this virus challenge. glad to recommend her to anyone with either of these issues. So happy to have her being there for me while she is going through this too.
Vivian is thoughtful and asks great questions to get me to look deeper into the issues I am facing without pushing too hard.
Vivian has been a touchstone and a literal lifesaver for me. Going through changes in my life including caregiving elderly parents and my own kids at the same time. This is the most stressful my life has ever been and I cannot imagine where I would be without Vivian's patient insights, her ability help me see other perspectives and reframe the hard things. I am often so overwhelmed that I don't have time or the money to access traditional counseling. Vivian is always there, responds to me quickly, and even reaches out to me when I am too busy to check-in. She is the best counselor I have ever had and I am grateful for her.
Vivian has been so warm and understanding through this process. I am new to therapy, but she made me feel so comfortable and never made me feel silly for anything I brought up. Having her to go to when I needed a listening ear has been more helpful than I could have ever predicted. She has taught me some new techniques that have brought me a lot of relief in my everyday life, and I am so thankful for her!
