Warren Fritze

About me

I'm Warren Fritze (alphabet soup behind my name) and I've been in the counseling/therapy field for nearly 25 years working with a wide range of people on an even wider range of topics. I'm very down to earth,, very supportive, and if you work with me I can make this promise: I'll work as hard with you as you work with you. I firmly believe that your life is your life and if you choose to work with me, I will offer my experience and empathy and understanding.

While more often known as anxiety and depression, I find that "finding one self" (existential ideas) is a key element that brings people to therapy. "Where do I fit in," "none of this makes sense," or "who am I?" are all often asked questions. If you have ever asked yourself these and more, you are not alone.

I also focus on dream analysis, as dreams and life often give us guidance in our dark times.

While not limited to these issues, supportive non-judgmental support is how I would describe my counseling "style." I believe in honesty, transparency, accountability, openness, and a willingness to tackle life's problems as they are and, through this, we become stronger, more resilient, wiser individuals.

On a side note, I also do quite a bit of work on recovering from gaslighting and emotional abuse.
**I am also in the middle of creating a written/taught program for unifying polarized/divided families.**

Hobbies: long-distance motorcycling, fishing, writing (journaling but also a UF genre novel), reading, re-watching select existential philosophy based movies, reflecting on Stoic philosophy, astronomy, and tending to my lawn tractor that never seems to cut grass evenly.

If you are in need of urgent help, please, at any time during our work together; call 911. or 1-800-273-TALK 24 hours a day.

Warren is very helpful. We circle back to the same principles of good mental health often and it's okay. It's a long process and I feel invested in myself to continue breaking barriers for better thought patterns, even if it means circling back often.

Great to talk to!

Warren is a great listener and is very supportive. It was my first time to therapy and I’m happy I was paired with him. He seems to have a similar outlook/view on things as to how I view things. I appreciate his effort and checking in with me too.

Warren has done amazing work with me and is clearly skilled in getting to the deeper layers of an issue. He’s helped guide me to learn more about myself in a short amount of time. I would recommend Warren to anyone seeking deeper understanding about themselves especially in regards to people affected by addiction/ alcoholism and grief.

Work with me!
