About me

Hi, welcome to my profile. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am trained in both Public Health and Family Therapy. I received my Public Health Training at Yale University and my Family Therapy Training at Thomas Jefferson University. While at Jefferson I did my clinical work at the prestigious Council For Relationships. The Council is one of the oldest marital /relationship training programs in the country.

I employ a non-judgmental experiential approach integrating the most effective ways to help individuals; couples and families reach their goals. I try my best to connect with each client, listen carefully, and respond to each persons' specific needs.

Do you need help navigating the maze of romantic love? Are you struggling with relationship issues? Are you a bride or groom marrying for the first time or remarrying hoping to make your love last a lifetime? Are you challenged living in a stepfamily situation trying your best to balance everyone's needs? Are you coping and transitioning from the loss of a loved one? We will work together transforming your concerns into opportunities for personal growth. I searched the field integrating the best of evidenced-based practice. Therefore I have extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy proven and considered the most successful approach to creating loving relationships endorsed by the American Psychological Association."

From 2012 to 2019, I facilitated weekly bereavements groups in South Florida. Consequently, I worked extensively with the bereaved population and helped hundreds of people heal from their loss. Therefore I feel comfortable helping people traversing this very difficult life passage, honoring their loss, and creating new meaningful lives.

I look forward to working with you, helping you reach your goals, and attain your full aliveness.

Wendy is an amazing therapist, she goes above and beyond and really cares about you as a person. Sometimes I think of my life as before Wendy, and after Wendy- that’s how much of a difference she’s made in my life!

I am so thankful for all of Wendy's wonderful counsel these past two months. Together, we have gotten farther in therapy than all the therapy that I have done face to face in my life's history. Her counsel has led to an increase in my inner self-confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, and my physical health. Her knowledge and guidance are precious to me and I am very grateful that Betterhelp matched my needs to her abilities and skills! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I honestly can’t thank Wendy enough for all the compassion and knowledge she has shared with me during our sessions these past few months. When I started speaking with Wendy I was completely confused and heartbroken during that phase of my life and she brought to light so many things that gave me clarity and confidence. You can feel her sincerity as she asks questions and shares her own experiences in order to help you reach the goals you set for yourself. By the time I decided my therapy could be considered “finished” for now I didn’t want to even stop my hourly sessions with Wendy who has been more like an unbiased and wise friend than anything else. I would recommend Wendy without hesitation and am beyond grateful for her time.
