About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, with 26 years of experience working in the medical profession as a counselor. Working many years with hospice and oncology patients and families has been a blessing to me. I specialize in issues seniors can face on a daily basis. I work with a wide range of concerns including grief and loss issues, family conflict, and difficult life transitions. I am very sensitive to concerns caregivers face and have facilitated years of caregiver groups and individual therapy, for those who are taking care of a loved one in person or at a distance. You should discuss depression and fears with a professional. If you are isolated or lonely, I want to listen to what is important to you. Your entire wellbeing can improve with professional guidance. With honest validation and new coping skills that I can teach you, I know you can feel much better. My counseling is to support you, assist you with a fresh perspective, and help you create a life worth living. I look forward to meeting you!

Wendy listens and helps me process. She helps me connect the dots, so to speak. She's so easy going and also focused.

It's not easy for me to reach out and admit that I could benefit from therapy, but Wendy really helped me feel more at ease and like I was talking to an old friend more than someone whose judging me. She is incredibly kind when you need her to be and she is direct when that's what you really need as well. She's definitely one of the best therapist I've ever had.

Always willing to help me even when I don't outright ask for it. I feel listened to and comfortable telling her whatever is on my mind.

Wendy is a fantastic counselor. She’s punctual, checks in frequently, and always is a great listening ear. She’s supportive and kind. She has really made me start to look at situations differently and see them in a light that I didn’t see prior. I would definitely recommend her and I am looking forward to more sessions with her. Thanks Wendy!
