I work with clients in a genuine and nonjudgmental way and from a position of acceptance to tackle whatever challenges they’re facing.
I use an integrated and holistic approach to address your unique situation and problems. I draw from an integrated theory in my work that includes Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Logotherapy, and Transpersonal Psychology. This allows me to tailor what we do to get you to your goals. I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT - 200) and incorporate yoga, mindfulness, and meditation when clients are open to this! I'm also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP), which helps me take a holistic approach to mental health that includes nutrition and the mind-body connection.
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, am a National Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have provided distance counseling via video, phone, and text for five years.
If you prefer the clinical, I’ve worked successfully with issues like anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, trauma, relationship loss, stress, self-injury and many more for years in both the online and in person settings. I also enjoy working with individuals who are highly-attuned or have high sensitivity trait or "HSP".
A final note: Choosing someone to work with on your life is important...it can feel intimidating even! The most important factor in choosing a therapist is finding someone you “click” with. Browse and shop around until you find someone who “speaks” to you!

Whitney has given me better perspective about myself. She helps me understand my struggles and anxieties and the fact that it’s ok to feel overwhelmed by things just as long as i do not give up on myself. Because of her caring nature, it is easy for me to unload and let her see me as a real person without the fear of being judged. She has helped me greatly see things through during my darkest days and helps me process my thoughts in a pragmatic way.
She has helped me through a lot and she always understands what my concerns are, and listens to me. She responds usually within 24-48 hours and I always feel comfortable talking to her. Its nice knowing that I have someone there for me.
Whitney is very supportive and helpful in various different ways, and has helped me through a difficult point in life.
Working with Whitney has been really wonderful. I found her when I needed an outside perspective on things. She is very intuitive. I've felt throughout our time that I can say what I feel even when it's ugly or harsh and she'll reply with a steadiness and acceptance that has gently guided me through the healing process. I am more comfortable listening to my intuition and sharing my feelings. Her support has been everything.
Whitney is honestly one of the most amazing psychologist's that I've ever had. She is experienced and knowledgeable and is able to determine what methods or tools might be helpful for different situations. Whitney helped me with my depression, anxiety, insecurity issues, and with my partner and I coming out as lesbians.i am so grateful for Whitey's help and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking help.
I have spent years being scared of talking to anyone out of past bad experiences but Whitney changed everything and makes me feel safe, heard, and valued. She is amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. Life is always going to be rough that’s just how it is but having someone as great as Whitney to talk to makes it bearable. 10/10
Whitney is by far the best counselor I’ve had and I’ve had a few others throughout my life. I was skeptical at first about it being online but she has been so helpful!
Whitney is a caring emphatic counsellor who has helped me put things in perspective. I highly recommend her.
I don't know how I lived my life before Whitney. She is a set part of my day and helps me cope with relationship and family issues as well as self hatred and problems at work. My life has gotten so much better since I have started speaking to Whitney. No words of gratitude are sufficient to tell her how much her work has helped me.
Whitney is very compassionate and listens to you very carefully. She is quickly to answer and give good advice.
Whitney is very helpful! She really listens and gives great feedback and advice!
Whitney is the best counselor I have ever had. She listens, cares and provides great feedback. I wish everyone had a Whitney in their life!
After going through a couple counselors unable to find a fit - a friend recommended I reach out to Whitney! I'm so glad I did. She is thoughtful and compassionate in each message she writes, and I can tell she takes her time to carefully address each issue while giving her expert advice. Whitney takes my jumbled up thoughts and makes me feel validated and understood, and I really appreciate all she's done for me in the past couple months. Thank you Whitney! <3
I really like Whitney White as my therapist. I felt like she understood me, she validated my emotions, provided me with other perspectives on complex situations and gave me great tools to help me.
I am very happy with everything so far. I’m aware it’s early days and we are only at the surface level, but I’m happy to continue because I feel Whitney is adding value to this experience.
Whitney is wonderful. She just gets me! She knows what I’m trying to say even when I’m not sure exactly how to express what I’m feeling. She helps me work through my thoughts and feelings. And I never feel judged. I feel like I could tell her anything and I truly value that. Having Whitney as my counselor is like a life-long friend who always gives the best advise.
Whitney is wonderful! She is thoughtful, validating and an amazing counselor. She's be so so helpful! :)
Whitney is great. She helped me work through a really difficult time, and gave me the tools I needed to change my thoughts. She helped create some positive changes in my life.
Whitney’s help has been invaluable to me, being able to speak to a counselor once a week regardless of where I am in the world is so helpful. Whilst we’re working on the bigger picture, she also helps me with day-to-day troubles too. Her insight has helped me achieve things I definitely wouldn’t have without her help, and I can’t wait to see what else I manage to understand about myself and improve my coping mechanisms through working with her.
Whitney cares and she supports me in my relationship with my husband. She offers alternatives and options and is not biased. I am glad to have Whitney as my Counselor whom I can count on.
I’ve never been to therapy and so was really hesitant about opening up at first. But Whitney has just been so great! I signed up for Better Help because I was going through a breakup with problems I knew stemmed from problems with myself. I knew I felt unhappy in my relationship but could not for certain say why. Therapy with Whitney has been so great in helping me become more self aware and reflective. And, of course, the break up was hard at first. But every day, with Whitney, I was able to feel a little bit better than the day before.
She is very kind and easy to talk to. Gave me lots of helpful tips!
Whitney is extremely helpful! She seems to always get a great grasp of what you are feeling or thinking, knows exactly what to recommend, implements worksheets/exercises to help you actively think about things and is very kind and available. She has made a significant difference in my life and, for that, I am very grateful.
She’s great. Very friendly and really tries to understand where you’re coming from. Also, very chill so really helped me slow down and get through my anxiety. I am definitely doing much better in these past 3 months.
Super helpful and responds as soon as she can and always has the right things to say it's just such a great feeling to have all your questions spell out and then have them all answered right off the bat it's just so relieving.
Whitney is so great and so helpful.
She's very bright and friendly. Keeps things loose and fun while also getting to the heart of issues. She cares a lot and does outside research if it'll help my problems. I definitely recommend her to anyone.
Whitney has been a huge help for me! I felt comfortable with her from the beginning. She has helped me tremendously with anxiety and depression from things that happened to me as a teenager. My whole outlook on life is changing in very positive ways because of Whitney!
I really like the approach Whitney uses and it's always good to feel like I'm being heard. She asks questions and I feel like I can talk to her about any topic.
I found this service from a well known "YouTuber". I didn't have many high hopes, and I wasn't sure whether or not the service was going to be effective or not. I found the price daunting as it was an online service.
After finding Whitney I had much more faith. Whitney has taken time to learn about me, and help bring me back to "normal". She listens to me and makes suggestions that fit my life! She knows therapy is not a one size fits all. I find this service reassures me that I'm not alone no matter what happened and how bad I'm feeling. I can always count on Whitney to "talk me off my crazy post".
She is amazing and has got me through some really hard times. She’s easy to talk to and we seem to really get along
Whitney has helped me with a few things and, while I'm not "cured," I do have the many tools she helped with to lead me on a better path.
