About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado and am an expert in my field with over 17 years of counseling experience. I have partnered with clients from all age ranges working on a wide variety of areas such as depression, anxiety, family/relationship/parenting problems, career and self-esteem issues as well as many other challenges. I have worked extensively with those who are adjusting to acute and chronic disease and disability as well as grief work. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my master's degree in social work at Colorado State University.

I have provided group, family and individual therapy in a plethora of settings. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral, multisystemic and humanistic therapy as well as utilize mindfulness and relaxation techniques. I partner with a client by truly meeting them where they are at with genuine acceptance using a flexible approach that leverages my nearly two decades worth of work experience in order to help in their journey achieving their therapeutic goals. I am very sensitive to the needs my clients and my approach is warm, energetic, collaborative and strengths-based.

I would truly appreciate if you were you to give me a chance to work with you as I feel I have way more to offer you than an online profile alone can show. It takes courage to do what you are doing right now. You really do have my respect and admiration and I know that you will find the right therapist person here at Betterhelp.
