About Me
Thanks for checking out my profile! Let me introduce myself so you can get to know me. First off, I love being a counselor! I love seeing how people can change when they have someone in their corner encouraging them and helping them to see how powerful he or she can be. In my 14 years of counseling in Idaho and Utah since getting my Masters Degree in Psychology, I have been inspired by people from many walks of life who seek to make lasting changes in their life. Many of the good people I have worked with have had difficult experiences in trauma, marital struggles, addiction and other challenges that have made it difficult to move forward in their lives. We have had success using various approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment therapy, solution focused therapy and more. It is about what empowers YOU to be successful. Sometimes, that happens just by letting the strength and competency in you come out through my listening. Whatever works for you, we find it and do it! Your strength (I promise it is there!), coupled with the training and life experience that I can offer you as a husband, a father of 3 boys and someone who believes in the power of human beings can make the difference you seek.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for William Hansen. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
William has been excellent in reminding me of the tools I have at my disposal for improving my mental health. He does a great job of reminding me how important I am as a person and how valuable my life is. I highly recommend him as a therapist.
Very open to hearing my concerns before we even had a session, and continues to help ease my anxieties over my life and my therapy.
William is a Great councelor. He listens attentively and quickly understands what my issues are. If I don’t really know myself he helps me skillfully to get to the core. His advice and ideas are very helpful and I already feel like making progress after only two sessions. Thank you very much!!!
Will had a way of listening and putting things in perspective through personal experiences and/or articulate explanations about how the brain works. He is also a great person to work with that seems to really care. Thanks for all your help!
A very kind, open minded and attentive person. He has been asking me the right questions, gave me great ideas what to work on and I can fully recommend him as a counsellor.
William has been amazing from our first interaction. He is very easy to talk to and asks great follow up questions to dive deeper on my responses. Highly recommend betterhelp and William to anyone looking to better understand themselves or any situation they are going through.
William is a gem, tender-hearted and genuine. He has helped me with many things: relationships, grief, self-care amongst many other aspects of me and my life. I couldn't be happier, and satisfied with his work. I strongly recommend him and this program.
He’s really good at giving me new perspectives to think about. I’ve been working on improving myself and he has been there to help. I’ll continue to practice the exercises he has given me.
Such a kind hearted person!
