My area of expertise is trauma and I have worked with, but not limited to, survivors/witnesses of sexual assault and violent crimes, domestic violence, general/family counseling and adoption preservation (attachment based counseling). I have a deep understanding of the effects of trauma in children and adults alike.
I create great rapport with my clients with a warm and empathetic tone. I have devoted my career to learning various evidenced based interventions to be of best service to everyone. I have a wealth of knowledge in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) for families with children from hard places. I am also fluent in Spanish.
