Yoshiko Murai, LMFT
About me
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California since 2010
and have clinical experience with positions at UCSF and government agencies. I graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling, with concentrations in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling (MFCC) and Gerontology.
Throughout my career, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including stress, anxiety, anger management, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, communication issues, and existential crises. I also have experience working with individuals managing substance use and psychosis.
I believe that you are the expert of your own story and possess the strengths that will help you navigate and overcome life's challenges. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and joyful life takes both courage and effort. While challenges may feel overwhelming at times, they also offer valuable opportunities for growth.
I welcome individuals from all walks of life and am here to support you on your journey.
