Zachary Spoerl, LPC
About me
Hey there! I am a licensed professional counselor living in Tennessee with 3 years of professional work experience. I work with a wide range of clients to do things like explore the impact of their childhood (many of us weren't able to genuinely express ourselves), understand and work with their depression and anxiety, navigate difficult family dynamics, and discovering their authentic self. I use a variety of modalities, but specialize in Internal Family Systems and EMDR therapies (don't worry if you're not sure what these are). Know that it's my job to make sure you feel comfortable and safe to share whatever is going on for you- if you've never tried therapy, this is a great place to privately get to know more of you. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but when it clicks, it all feels worth it. I love what I do, and feel honored to sit with my clients as they pursue a journey inward.

Great therapist! Helped me realize something that eventually broke a relationship I had was something internal that I'd been dealing with for years without realizing it.

Zach does an amazing job of listening and interpreting your thoughts and feelings you share with him, and he opens insight to those things in a way that’s extremely helpful. He is encouraging and at the same time a realist. I went through several therapists to find Zach, and I would 10/10 recommend him to anyone else.
