About Me

I am a Marriage & Family Therapist and have been providing therapy, consultation and support to individuals for over 12 years. I lived and worked in Hilo, Hawaii for many years where I completed my education before moving to California. I have worked with people from all walks of life and from many cultures experiencing myriad challenges that life can present.

We live in a demanding culture in which the choices and pressures of everyday life can become overwhelming; confusion, depression and anxiety can be a result. To combat the pressures of depression and anxiety, cognitive behavioral therapy can help one generate self-affirming ideas and change thought patterns towards a hopeful and resilient future. Career and lifestyle choices can be daunting and cause both interpersonal and intrapersonal conflict. To relieve stress and gain perspective, I focus on mindfulness and integrative practices leading toward a centered and more balanced life. For individuals struggling to balance career with relationship or family demands, I can offer a solution-focused approach.

Every person is interesting and I enjoy the journey of discovery with everyone, increasing insight and finding solutions. I recognize that people are incredibly unique and they have freedom of choice in all aspects of lifestyle, personal relationship and family arrangement. I deeply respect each person and their choices.

Zoe has helped me see myself, and become closer to all the parts of me. She has helped me feel seen and heard in ways I have really needed support. I appreciate the insight she provides and her attentiveness to detail. I highly recommend working with Zoe.

Super easy going and easy to talk to, I was hesitant to talking to someone, but she has made the process so easy and comfortable.
