I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. I earned my Master of Social Welfare (MSW) degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 2004. I've worked in many different settings with individuals, couples, and families who have a variety of issues that include, but that are not limited to, relationship and family conflicts, parent/child challenges, adjustment to phases of life, depression, stress, and grief.
My experience as a clinician has led me to focus on working with and helping my clients with a tailored approach that combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths-based therapy models. I strive on bringing you to a point of becoming confident in your abilities to move forward by minimizing fear and leading you to tangible and realistic goals and outcomes. I offer a non-judgmental, empathic, and mindful approach with my clients who are willing to accept the challenges that come with participating in counseling and have the desire to work towards and make positive changes.
Whether your challenges are recent or longstanding, whether you are wanting to improve your mood, relationships, or the ability to cope with complicated emotions, I am confident I can offer a perspective and additional support that allows you to gain the momentum you are seeking in order to move forward and start healing.
I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. You can message me anytime through BetterHelp. I usually check messages twice each day, Mondays through Fridays. I offer messaging, live chat, video and phone sessions with limited availability in the evenings. At this time, I am not able to provide services on the weekends. What you see in my calendar may not reflect my only availability so always check with me through a message first!
I look forward to working together!

Zoe strikes a beautiful balance between authentic concern for one's well-being and growth and a kind way of firmly holding one accountable. She is open, honest and great at asking just the right questions to open the door for new pathways.
Zoe is a joy to work with! She has been such an instrumental part of my growth over the past year and I know I would not be where I am today without her support and guidance.
Zoe's awesome! Each week Zi look forward to our session.
Zoe has been an excellent therapist. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and a hands-on guider through my process. What I appreciate most is that she always has suggestions and offerings for me to think about on my journey and concrete feedback and insights.
Zoe is so great! Perfect balance of pushing you and also listening and being sympathetic. She makes time for you and is super communicative of any potential schedule changes
Zoe has helped me open my heart to healing and forgiveness. She identified my strengths early on and channels that when guiding me, whether it's recommending journal ideas, books to read or podcasts to listen to, she helps me carry my therapy sessions with me throughout the week to grow.
Zoe is an awesome listener and has helped me unlock some hidden issues that am now dealing with one step at a time. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is in need to making improvement mentally.
I am new to counseling and was very skeptical at first. However, I am very happy with the services I have been receiving and the relationship I am building with my counselor. Immediately I was made comfortable with the process and everything was explained thoroughly to me. We have only been working together for a short time, but I feel like she is patient with me, responsive, and focused on providing me with quality services. She has already made an impact on me and I look forward to continuing with these services.
