About me
If you are carrying something heavy right now — whether that is trauma, grief, anxiety, burnout, addiction, or simply the exhausting sense that something needs to change — I want you to know that you have come to the right place. You do not need to have it all figured out before you reach out. You just need to take one step.
I am a warm, compassionate, and deeply experienced Australian counsellor with fifteen years of clinical experience and a Bachelor of Counselling. I am currently completing my Masters degree and hold Level 4 membership with the Australian Counsellors Association — the highest level of membership, which also qualifies me to provide clinical supervision to other counselling professionals.
My approach is integrative — I draw on a wide range of evidence-based modalities and tailor everything to what you specifically need. I am EMDR certified, which means I can help you process painful memories, trauma, intrusive thoughts, and overwhelming emotions in a way that goes beyond talk therapy alone. I also work with ACT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based CBT.
What makes my practice genuinely distinctive is my background in Buddhist psychology and meditation — something I have studied and practised deeply for over twenty years. This means I can bring not just clinical technique but genuine wisdom about the nature of the mind, the roots of suffering, and the practical path toward peace. I am also a Level 2 Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher with eighteen years of experience, and I am trained in breathing practices that directly calm and regulate the nervous system — tools that can make an immediate difference when anxiety or panic feel overwhelming.
I have worked extensively with trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, panic and anxiety disorders, burnout and nervous breakdown, addiction and eating disorders, and clients who are experiencing voices or unusual perceptual experiences. Whatever you are facing, I bring both the clinical skill and the human warmth to sit with you in it.
Taking the first step toward support is an act of real courage. I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
