About Me
My name is Aarin Mitchel. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Arkansas and Louisiana with over 20 years of experience working with children, teenagers, young adults and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting problems, ADHD, autism, self esteem issues, impulsive behaviors, anger and aggression, self harm behaviors and suicidal ideations. I also helped many people who have experienced domestic violence and other abuse including physical, emotional and sexual.
My therapy style is caring, open minded and interactive. I strive at being a good listener and creative thinker. I have always believed it is important to treat everyone as an individual and fairly. I aspire to do this using respect, sensitivity, and compassion, in addition to refraining from labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, including trauma focused and person center therapy.
I look forward to working with you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Aarin Mitchell. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I was worried coming into therapy for the first time but her approach left me feeling comfortable and safe. She has helped me already with a fee appointments and a lot of compassion.
Is very supportive and always trys to be available or follow up!
With a strong sense of empathy, Aarin is willing to work together to find the best paths forward. I appreciate her calm demeanor, friendly manner, and easy to communicate with style. She asks great questions, is willing to switch gears quickly if it's of benefit, and is a strong mental health partner. I feel very fortunate to be working with her.
