About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida. I have 8 years experience working with clients in various stages of life. As a counselor I have worked with individuals who have had major mental health, substance abuse as well as some who were dual diagnosed. I have worked with children and families from the Foster Care system that have experienced abuse, abandonment, neglect and complex trauma. In addition to their trauma I have also worked with families and children to address thier adoption related challenges.

As a counselor my approach is to work with the clients in a partnership to explore solutions to what the client identifies as their challenge. My goal is to work together with each client to build a safe and therapeutic environment. My therapeutic approach is solution focused while also allowing the client to lead the direction of the session.

Abigail is an incredible listener. She is very understanding, intuitive, and gentle with her therapy style. She has a friendly approach that put me at ease in our sessions. She also would include personal life experiences every so often which was so helpful to get someone else’s perspective and advice! I would recommend her, particularly for younger (maybe college aged) people as I am in college and had a very easy time talking to her.

Abigail is a very kind, understanding, and intuitive counselor. She always listens to what I have to say, and she helps me challenge my thoughts and behaviors in a supportive and non-judgemental manner. I truly appreciate the support she's provided me so far. I highly recommend her!
