About me

Hello! I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience working with adults and teenagers. I completed my clinical training at Boston College and I have worked in a variety of outpatient settings. I am also an Organizational Psychology consultant and a strong advocate for creating work cultures that promote wellbeing and inclusion.

My approach is grounded in developmental psychology and I support people in making sense of their lives and experiences as a tool for growth and healing. I am also trained in CBT and typically prefer to combine this approach with the practice of mindfulness for it to be the most beneficial. I teach and practice yoga and I am sometimes asked to incorporate relaxation techniques into my work with clients.

Making the decision to seek therapy is both a challenging and rewarding one and I am sensitive to the importance of building a trusting relationship between client and therapist. It takes courage to recognize there are things in our life that need to be changed. Whether it is learning to better understand relationships, thinking patterns or behavior bringing us into counseling, the results can be powerful and life altering. I am honored to partner with my clients in this process.

My goal as a therapist is to help each client recognize their own internal resilience and how to use it to improve the quality of their lives, regardless of what may have happened in their past. We all have the capacity to make things better, to be stronger or to have greater patience with ourselves and others.

I look forward to working together!
