About me

It may be your first ever therapy appointment or you may be deciding to re-establish in therapy after some time; regardless, you are taking the first, often hardest, step towards your healing journey. There are many misconceptions about therapy that may have discouraged you from seeking therapy. Many think that therapy is a one-way conversation or that I am going to make you discuss issues that you wish not to. I use a collaborative, person-centered approach in which you remain the expert of your own life and I am there to guide you through the process of healing.
I utilize several approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing to name a few. As a trauma informed care therapist, I specialize in trauma, as well as depression and anxiety.
