Adrian Gonzalez, LPC
About me
My name is Adrian Gonzalez and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I began my career in the mental health world over 10 years ago when I became a member of NAMI Texas Panhandle. I soon moved into the role as an advocate and began teaching the complexities of having family members who struggle with mental health issues in my community. From there, I furthered my education and earned my Master's degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University in 2018.
I prefer helping my clients from a more holistic approach by utilizing a person-centered platform. In providing a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to share their struggles, my role as a therapist is to help guide them to a healthier understanding of their presenting problems. As a person in long-term recovery, I know first hand the difficulty in reaching out for help. I feel this lived experience paired with education allows me to see things from a more accepting perspective and demonstrates that real change is possible for anyone! I hope you allow me the privilege in journeying with you today!

He is extremely easy to talk to and I find myself sometimes solving my own problems just by trying to explain them to him. This is the kind of therapy I like best.

Adrian has been very helpful to my treatment. At my darkest time and I felt I had absolutely no one that I could or wanted to talk to, he was there. He has been helpful and inspirational.

This is my first time doing any kind of therapy and I have to I was skeptical at first. Adrian put my mind at ease with his mellow manner and willing to listen to everything I had to say. He is great to sum it up!!

Adrian has been a wealth of knowledge and has been very helpful. For a first timer reaching out for help, I was anxious going into a session speaking to a stranger about my problems and issues, but Adrian provided a very comforting and warm environment. He was available almost in real time during a high stress time for me and provided good guidance during that time.
