Aimee Dinschel, LCSW
About me
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois, I help individuals make sense of overwhelming emotions and life changes. I support clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and major transitions, with particular experience addressing social anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and interpersonal relationship patterns.
My therapeutic practice centers on empowering clients to develop deeper self-understanding, strengthen communication skills, and build resilience. Whether you’re experiencing panic attacks, feeling stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, or working to heal from past experiences, therapy is a space where we can slow down, explore what’s coming up, and create meaningful change together.
I take a collaborative, client-centered approach that honors each person’s unique journey. Together, we focus on building effective coping strategies, improving emotional awareness, and fostering healthier, more fulfilling connections—so you can move toward a life that feels more grounded, confident, and balanced.
