Alan Archibald, LCSW
About me
I specialize in the treatment of trauma response to overwhelming experiences, including the Adverse Childhood Experiences referenced in much of the current research on trauma. I help to individualize the application of trauma treatment for clients. There is a difference between coping and soothing the inner self - usually both of these are needed to navigate daily life and relationships. Individuals and parents who face the challenge of Asperger's Syndrome and other neurologically based challenges can benefit from these trauma principles to help manage the overwhelm that comes from daily challenges.
