About me

My passion for seeing family systems restored and individuals made whole caused me to walk away from a 30-year career in Corporate America and embark upon a new journey of helping others heal from life stressors and other life-changing events that leave one devastated and emotionally impoverished. Don’t let yesterday’s familiar practices cause you to remain stuck, unfilled, and broken.

I am here to inform you that you can exchange “Ashes for Beauty” and ” Mourning for Joy.” Let me help you make the transition. I am a graduate of Liberty University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Christian counseling and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with formal education, life experiences, and spirituality, I am equipped to lead you to a place of hope and restoration. Let us take the journey in a safe, non-judgmental, empathic environment.
While joy may seem unattainable, it is achieved when you trust the process of therapy to regain hope through various techniques. It is possible to dance in the rain and take back what was stolen: joy, peace, hope, love, trust, and so much more.

I use a variety of therapeutic methods to help individuals from all walks of life work through devastating events and disappointments to heal emotional pain and become whole again. My theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help with cognitive dissidence and faulty thinking. Reality Therapy empowers you to reach your full potential and gain a sense of self-worth to function in the family system and community. Solution Focus Brief Therapy teaches that small steps lead to significant change.

My motto: “Saving Ones At Risk” (SOAR), a holistic approach that helps rebuild one’s mind, body, and spirit. Let’s refocus, redefine, and regain your purpose.
