Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Alecia Beaudry and I want to thank you for taking the time to read my profile to see if I might be a good fit to support you in managing your mental health. I invite you to message me with any additional questions you might have about my skills, treatment methods and experience.
I am a Wisconsin based Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who currently is in private practice in Elm Grove Wisconsin. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1999. At that time, I also completed an additional concentration in marriage and family therapy. During my 20+ years in the field, I have worked in a variety of settings that have allowed me to develop a strong knowledge base of acute psychiatric disorders as well as supporting people who are in life’s transitions.
I am passionate about working with clients to support overall health and wellbeing. I believe it is possible for everyone to live a satisfying life. I use creativity in my practice to approach problems that people have worked years to resolve with no success. I use a combination of therapeutic techniques to support my clients in meeting their goals. Complex problems require creative solutions and I feel it is my responsibility to inspire my clients to move in the direction of health.
One of my main personal and professional goals over the years has been to create a positive connection with anyone who comes in contact with me. As a result, I have developed an easy manner and it allows me to connect with clients and make them comfortable. The therapeutic relationship is the single most important part of the process. I never forget the courage it takes to work on oneself and feel honored to support people on their journey to create a satisfying life.

I have previously found therapy challenging because I never felt comfortable enough with anyone to be completely honest. All my issues, all my ugly out on the table. But Alecia has made me feel so comfortable and safe that I can truly get help for things I’ve buried for so long. It’s been very helpful for my every day life and I have tools to manage stressful situations when they come up
I am the type of person that constantly needs to find solutions to a problem. I rarely will be the one to just sit and stew in my emotions. I appreciate that Alecia is able to switch to work with my personality type and understand that sometimes I just need someone to talk to, while also providing insight from expertise or personal experience.
I was always concerned about starting therapy but I’m really glad that I was connected to Alecia because she helps to get my out of my own point of view sometimes and has shared many tools or practices for grounding and being present.
Alecia is very realistic and understanding of the modern and ever changing world and has some great tips on how to deal with difficult situations - she is very warm and very easy to talk to and get along with without feeling judged
Alecia makes therapy sessions fun and relaxing - which is not something I had anticipated. She goes out of her way to understand the best way to work with you and asks all the right questions to make you think deeper about how to overcome your roadblocks and issues.
Alecia is very patient and creative in finding ways to help. Even when I’ve not done the homework I promised to do, she finds ways to motivate me and make me feel positive and hopeful.
Alecia is very knowledgable and easy to talk to. She creates a space where I can express my feelings openly and without judgement. She validates me and guides me to make positive change. I'm very thankful for Betterhelp and the support I can get from the comfort of my own home :)
Alecia has been nothing short of kind, positive, and extremely encouraging through my counseling journey. I've gone through counseling twice before and have never had any luck getting past the second session until meeting and talking with Alecia. I'm grateful for BetterHelp and what it has done for me.
Alecia is amazing!!!! She's so sweet and above all she is so real, which I greatly appreciate!! She's really good at making you feel conformable to talk about anything, and you want to talk to her because you can tell she really does care and is listening with intention. I would 100% recommend her to anyone!
Alecia has been doing a wonderful job of helping me tackle some negative events that have really put my mental health at risk. She’s very supportive and very good at framing things in a way that help me to understand situations from a different angle. While this journey has just begun for me, I feel confident in the progress I’ll be able to make with Alecia helping me through.
Alecia is extremely supportive and helpful. She listens and gives great feedback that has made me see things in a different light. I would recommend her to anyone.
Alecia is meeting me where I am at and I appreciate her for that. My experience has been useful and good so far.
Alecia is an extremely good listener and so supportive. She offers a variety of ways to improve mental health and I have thoroughly benefited from her.
