Alexa James, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families living with mental health challenges. My work has centered on helping people navigate stress, trauma, and life transitions with compassion and practical tools for resilience. I bring a background in advocacy, systems change, and leadership, while always keeping my focus on the individual sitting in front of me. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and rooted in the belief that healing is possible when we feel truly seen and supported.
I help clients understand what they’re carrying, why it feels heavy, and how to move forward with more ease. My focus is on emotional resilience, self-awareness, and healing from stress or relational hurt. I offer a supportive, culturally attuned space where we can explore your experiences together, build new skills, and reconnect you with your strengths.
