About me

I work with children, teenagers, adults, couples and relationship counselling. Currently working within doctors surgeries all over the north west with deaf clients, within schools and in my office.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have worked for two other counselling organisations and now as a private counsellor for the last few years and taking on referrals.

I started my studies working with children where I achieved NVQ level 2 and diploma in child care. I also studied and worked on the child grief team for a company.

I have over 19 years of mental health training and experience and also over 17 years of working with deaf people and I am fluent in British sign language level 6. I have my own private office with free private parking directly outside the office.

I am so pleased that I decided to go ahead with therapy. It was something I was unsure about but straight away Alexis made me feel at ease. It’s very freeing to be able to talk to someone with no judgement, feel heard and know that your feelings are valid . Alexis is friendly but also professional - I find her advice and perspective very helpful. I always leave sessions feeling happier. I feel therapy has helped me so much and it’s something I will keep coming back to. Thank you!
