Alexis Reamer, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor with Masters degrees in Professional Counseling and Addiction Counseling. I specialize in adults and children with emotional, behavioral and cognitive difficulties. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, situational stress, relationships, conflict resolution, coaching, addiction and trauma. I have worked in a short-term and long-term capacity for both individual and groups across inpatient, outpatient, residential and in-home settings. My approach is authentic with the goal to have a happier and healthier version of my clients. I view all my therapy as short-term with the goal of the client becoming independent. Of course, this is done on an individualized basis. I believe therapy is a team approach and I work with my clients to accomplish their goals using guidance, support and processing to enable long-term change. At the heart of all my work you will find a strength-based and solution focused approach with the client at the core.

I have worked with Alexis for a little over a month and I am already seeing growth as a result of our time together. She is professional and compassionate. She is not pushy with her suggestions and waits for feedback to move forward. She is accommodating with her schedule and she seeks results which I appreciate! Thank you for this opportunity to share my thoughts about Alexis Reamer. Pam Danre

Alexis always makes me feel heard and listened too. I enjoy my sessions with Alexis and feel like she creates a space that is comfortable and safe.
She is supportive yet also helpful in unlocking some sometimes hard conversations

Only had three sessions so far but they are some of the most productive and reflective hours I've spent with a therapist in my life.

Alexis is a kind, patient and understanding lady. She takes her time to understand what I am currently going through and how to tackle certain anxiety/depressive moods. I am very appreciative of the time she takes out for our therapy session(s), I would 100% recommend her. Thank you so much Alexis for your help so far :)
