About me
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and you don't have to figure it all out alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 14 years of experience, I enjoy helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress and other obstacles that can make life feel heavier than it needs to be.
My style is client-centered and collaborative, focusing first on building comfort in the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where you can feel at ease being yourself, and feel heard and supported without fear of judgment. I primarily use Internal Family Systems therapy approach, and still draw from CBT and ACT, while integrating Motivational Interviewing techniques to meet your unique needs,
My clients often tell me that I help them look at problems in new ways, making difficult situations feel more manageable and opening the door to meaningful change. My goal is not to tell you what to do, but to help you discover the strengths, insights and practical strategies that help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

From the three sessions we’ve had so far, we’ve done a lot of good work together. I feel like I’m thinking about parts of my life I hadn’t considered deeply before. Alicia is definitely helpful in that regard!

Dr. Cherrybon is an incredibly helpful and diligent therapist who immediately gave me tools to help address my anxiety and sleeping troubles. There are many things I didn't even know about myself (one specifically being how ADHD affects my mood, behaviors, and relationships) that she enlightened me of and gave me the tools to work with to make my life better. She is kind, passionate about helping, and clearly talented at what she does. She is easy to talk to as well, and every session has been beneficial in ways I wasn't expecting. I would definitely recommend her as a therapist, as she is easily the best I have worked with!
