About me

I am licensed in Wyoming with 3 years of professional work experience in counseling. I also have experience in the education field, teaching both elementary and secondary content. I began my counseling career working with inmates and substance use disorders. I then moved into working with children, teens, and adults addressing mental health concerns ranging from abuse and trauma to life changes. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I like to use a client/person centered approach, as each individual is unique and is the expert on his/her/their life. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Cares, listens. Explores and confronts to better serve me, especially if she senses something is off which I appreciate.

Alicia has been great. I have been hesitant about doing any kind of therapy she has put me at ease and has been very authentic. Alicia is kind of patient she's created a comfortable space for me to be able to talk to her and share and help me work through the issues that I am facing right now. I would highly recommend her.

Alicia is great, she listens to me, gives me new perspectives, and helps me understand my emotions. She does great at using theory and realistic reasoning to connect to my emotions and actions. Very supportive and easy to communicate with. Judgement free zone. I enjoy our phone calls, she challenges me and is helping me be a better me.
