Alisa Dunker, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field, helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, life transitions, ADHD, autism , grief, and stress. I also have extensive experience supporting adoptive families and parents of children with disabilities.
My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I believe every person deserves to be treated with empathy, respect, and genuine care. Using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs by integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, and holistic wellness practices to help you build resilience, overcome challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Seeking support takes courage, and you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you truly feel seen, heard and supported to promote meaningful lasting change.
I would be honored to support you as you begin your journey toward healing and growth.
