About me

I have approximately 13 years' experience assisting people in the mental health field. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and attachment and bonding. I am trained in multiple modalities of therapy, and I individualize my treatment to what your needs are. Life can be difficult to navigate through and no one should feel like they have to do it alone. I welcome ALL people to my virtual therapy office and have experience working with the queer community, different cultures, races, and ethnicities. I have discovered that building a supportive and enthusiastic relationship through therapy, can create a safe place to explore life struggles, understand difficult issues, develop new skills, enrich relationships, and work through situations to lead a more successful life. I believe that within a safe, trust-filled therapeutic relationship, people can decide upon and implement the changes necessary to improve their lives. My goal is for you to feel understood, validated, and free of judgement. If you are ready for a wonderful change in your life and would like some support, let's work together.

I feel so lucky to have been paired with Alissa as my therapist on Better Help. From our first session I felt so comfortable with her, almost like I was talking to a friend. She has worked to reframe and challenge my thinking, provide insight as we delve into my concerns, and provides a non-judgemental and supportive space.
