Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Allison Hunt. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Allison has helped me tremendously in the last nine months. I have struggled for years to express my emotions and to protect myself from giving too much of myself for others. She has listened, guided and empowered me with knowledge and techniques to make me feel strong and protective mentally. She's helped me process multiple massive life events and past trauma. She recommends videos and classes for me to watch to guide me through tougher experiences when necessary and to also help me dive deeper into understanding myself and WHY I do what I do and how I can move forward not letting the past define me. She ALWAYS responds in a timely manner and is always making sure I don't feel alone. I am very lucky to have been matched with her for my first therapist ever and have it be such a good fit.

I can’t say enough good things about Allison. She is incredibly understanding and compassionate, but also very knowledgeable and straightforward, which is exactly what I needed. I always feel heard and supported, yet also challenged in the right ways to grow. If you’re looking for a therapist who is both kind and direct, I highly recommend her.

Alison is thoughtful, challenging, and inspires me with her own life experiences. She is very understanding and never leaves me feeling judged or with anything to prove. I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for someone to listen and help you move forward.

I really appreciate Allison's support. The past few months have been such a roller coaster and Allison has been there to support me with suggestions to heal, suggestions to build up my confidence and most importantly just there to listen as I go through my mini mid life professional and personal crisis. I find that figuring out if a therapist works for you is similar to dating and Allison and I mesh well when it comes to therapist / patient relationships and I value her guidance as I move forward in this new chapter.
