Althea King, LMHC
About me
I'm a therapist with nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments. I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, and mood disorders, bringing both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to our work together.
My approach is grounded in understanding the whole person—your faith, your values, and your unique life circumstances. I specialize in helping clients explore self-love, communication patterns, life purpose, and the deeper emotions like guilt, shame, and forgiveness. I'm also experienced in supporting those working through panic attacks, posttraumatic stress, attachment challenges, and financial concerns.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where you are the expert of your own story. My role is to create a safe, affirming space where you can heal, grow, and reconnect with your sense of purpose. Whether you're processing grief, rebuilding relationships, or finding your way forward, I'm here to walk alongside you with honesty, respect, and care.
Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I'm honored to support you on your path to healing.
