Alyssa works with children, adolescents and teens (ages 4 and up), individuals and families, helping them navigate life’s challenges with compassion and care. With over 13 years of experience in clinical, court, and community-based settings, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to helping others. Her diverse professional background in child welfare has shaped a compassionate, client-centered approach rooted in empathy and dedication.

Alyssa believes therapy is most effective in an environment where clients feel safe, heard, and supported. Alyssa uses a blend of therapeutic models—including psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, family systems, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy—adapting each session to fit the unique needs of her clients. By focusing on understanding clients’ goals and matching them with evidence-based approaches, she helps people create meaningful and sustainable change.

Her specialties include behavior modification, attachment challenges, emotional dysregulation, parenting coaching and support, conflict resolution, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, self-injurious behaviors, hopelessness, PTSD, and crisis management.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys traveling to National Parks, hiking, reading, cheering on Wisconsin sports teams, exploring new activities, and spending quality time with her husband and children.
