Dr. Alyssa Roberson, Psychologist
About me
I am a licensed psychologist in Georgia with over 5 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with mood disorders and severe and persistent mental illnesses. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and substance use addictions. I also have experience working with individuals ranging in age from 18 to 65+.
***Due to scheduling restrictions, I am only available to provide therapy services on Mondays each week between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I approach each person I treat with respect, empathy, and sensitivity. My therapeutic approach is integrative and typically combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and dialectical behavior therapy techniques. I approach each client in an individualized manner, creating a treatment plan that targets each client's unique and specific needs.
I believe approaching a therapeutic relationship in a non-judgmental way is incredibly important. It takes courage to seek help and open up to someone you have never met, which is why a non-judgmental approach is essential to treatment. Throughout treatment I will be here to support and empower you to move toward a more fulfilling and hopeful life. I look forward to working with you!
