Amanda Adams, LCSW-C
About me
Hello all! I have experience working with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, adjustment disorders, as well as ADHD in children, teens, and adults. I also have experience working with couples who want to enhance their communication skills to improve relationship success. As a clinical social worker, I utilize a strengths-based, client-focused approach grounded in mindfulness. I believe in the power of animals, nature, and our environment to enhance the therapeutic experience. With a creative background, I often incorporate expressive arts techniques, while employing narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and collaborative therapy. I look forward to helping you access your inherent wisdom and strength in order to develop and achieve your life goals.
