About Me
Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a lover of baking, knitting, nature hikes, podcasts, and all things cozy.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Wisconsin. My counseling style is warm and reflective as I listen and sit with my clients in whatever space they are in, judgment free. I am dedicated to creating a space where we can work together to process, learn, and collaborate on achieving your goals. I value a holistic approach to therapy and I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, psychoeducation and a client centered approach. I highly value your feedback as we navigate the therapeutic space together.
It is a brave thing to step into a space with someone new, and if you are ready to enter that space I am here to support you.
I look forward to working with you!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amanda DeLong. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
She’s the bestest!
Amanda provides a safe and non judgmental place to work out my concerns. She is very present and I feel heard during our sessions. She’s made all the difference for me feeling like I have someone to talk to who is understanding and empathetic. As someone in a ‘helping’ role myself it is essential for us to have someone as dedicated to our wellbeing as we are to those we help. Thank you!
Very Helpful
Amanda is very receptive and understanding of what I talk about in sessions, and her takeaways on what topics we talk about are communicated very clearly. I love that she talks in a very casual way which makes me feel more comfortable opening up. After two sessions I already feel confident we have a good patient/counselor relationship.
Amanda has been amazing. She has helped me navigate this sad season in my life which such a gentle approach. I’ve really learned to give myself grace and that has been life changing. When I first came to her I was so sad and I felt a huge shift just after our first session. She has been a light and I can’t thank her enough.
Two sessions (and text messages) with Amanda and I’m already seeing improvements in the areas of which I wanted help!
