Amanda has helped me go through some of the hardest times in my life and I am very grateful to have her as my therapist. Her professionalism and attention to details made me feel safe and heard. She would keep notes and remembered things that I told her two years ago when I barely remember that was something I went through. It was very easy to communicate with Amanda. I can't ask for a better therapist!

Better Help itself is okay, but Amanda Dodd is one of the best allies in my tribe. She is supportive, engaging, receptive, but also doesn’t mind telling me the truth and calling me out. Really enjoyed this last year with her and recommend her to many in my personal network.

It’s incredible to reflect on the past year and how much has changed since starting therapy with Amanda. Working with her has been nothing short of transformative. Amanda creates such a safe and comfortable environment, making it easy to express thoughts and emotions openly. Her attentiveness and understanding stand out—there’s never a moment where I’ve felt unheard or misunderstood, even when I’m not articulating things perfectly.
One of the most impactful tools Amanda has shared is the practice of checking in with myself before committing to anything. It’s a simple yet life-changing strategy that has helped me set boundaries and prioritize what truly feels good for me.
Therapy with Amanda has also been instrumental in navigating a particularly difficult time in my family relationships. When I first began, I felt lost, overwhelmed, and stuck in a negative headspace. With her guidance, I’ve been able to work through those emotions, find joy in the positives, and set the boundaries I needed to move forward. While the family dynamics are still challenging, the progress I’ve made in managing them has been significant.
What sets Amanda apart is her genuine care and commitment. Her check-ins during the hardest moments have meant so much, and the tools she’s provided have been invaluable for getting through tough times. Overall, her ability to create a space where growth and healing can happen is truly remarkable. I’m so grateful for the support and skills I’ve gained through this process.
