These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amanda Garrick. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Working with Amanda is great! She listens attentively and always provides thoughtful discussion and feedback. I like how she sends messages throughout the week to check in and also offer practical advice for things such as journaling.
She's very responsive, is very flexible with scheduling and doesn't mind if you forget to schedule ahead of time. She offers good advice and doesn't try to hyperanalize or tell me how to feel.
Amanda is a phenomenal therapist. She’s a great listener, helps challenge your thoughts and helps you recognize patterns in your thoughts, and she constantly shares resources that could be beneficial for you to look into (books, podcasts, courses, apps). I came to Amanda during a tough transition that was exacerbated by the pandemic, and with her support, I feel confident and prepared to live my life fully.
Amanda has been very helpful during a strange moment in my life. I have very little experience in therapy and I was nervous about the whole thing. I'm glad I wound up with Amanda. She is insightful, empathetic, and pleasant to process things with. Highly recommended.
Among her great qualities, I most appreciate that Amanda is a great listener and very relatable. This makes her easy to talk to which facilitates healing and progress.
I appreciate Amanda taking the time to educate herself on new techniques and therapies, as well as finding new techniques to send me based on what I express a current need for, week-by-week. I think a sign of a good counselor is someone who keeps learning and stays up-to-date with what their clients are interested in.
I love my therapy sessions with Amanda. I feel that I am listened too and she takes the time to give the best advice and reassurance she can.
