Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my practice. I am a Licensed Clincial Social Worker in Pennsylvania, with my Bachelors and Masters degrees from New York University. I enjoy helping individuals who are seeking solutions to challenges they are facing. A wise fortune cookie once told me, "Life is not a struggle, its a wiggle".
I have vast experiences in terms of client population, setting, and geographical location. I have experience in place from New York City to rural North Carolina, where I worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, physical, emotional, verbal, and sexual abuse, trauma, adoption, foster care, pregnancy, life changes, refugees, and sexuality issues. I am also clincially trained to work with individauls who face the struggles of a mental health diagnoses including, but are not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, ADHD, gender issues, and anger issues. I will tailor our sessions to meet your unique and specific needs, but find myself most often utilizing a mix of Acceptance and Committment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused, Risk-Reduction, Psychodynamic, and always utilize Client-Centered Therapuetic technqiues. I genuinely enjoy the work I do with all individuals and place value in the fact that everyone's story, rationale, and feelings are different. I look forward to providing a safe, confidential space for you or your loved one to share their story and help find emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and/or occupational wellness and recovery.

She’s a wonderful counselor. And an absolute lifesaver!
Amanda has been very helpful in my situation, and a great listener. Getting therapy for the first time has been scary, but she's made everything very approachable and flexible.
While I've only been working with Amanda a short time, she has been immensely helpful. She is kind and understanding, and she always ends sessions making sure I know what to work on till next time. She's provided a little safe space for me and all my baggage that I so badly needed, and I am incredibly thankful for that.
Amanda is thoughtful and helpful. She has been a great listener and has good suggestions for simple ways to improve my way of thinking.
Amanda is kind and patient. Just started working with her and am excited for what’s next. Grateful for the platform.
Amanda is wonderful! This is the first time therapy has actually worked for me, and I am very grateful for all of her help and insight.
Amanda is a wonderful therapist. She is professional and understanding, and responds in a timely manner. I have made so much progress in a short time of working with her. I highly recommend Amanda!
Amanda is great to work with. Very responsive and easy to talk to. I have benefited greatly from the time that I have worked with her and highly recommend her to others who are dealing with anxiety and depression.
She is a good therapist. Always available when you need her and very professional.
Though I only worked with Amanda for a short time, she was very helpful in identifying practical problems with my outlook and giving them a tweak to help me move on in the right direction.
I have only been working with Amanda Morgan for a short time yet she has demonstrated an ability to get right to the heart of any issue I have present to her. She is easy to talk too, very understanding and non-judgmental. I look forward to her continued help.
