I am a licensed clinical social worker who graduated from the University of Denver in 2007. Since graduating I have worked in a variety of settings with a wide range of clients from children to adults. I have helped people with numerous issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and anxiety. I have special training in counseling those who have been through traumatic experiences both in school and in trainings since.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and client centered techniques. More importantly, I believe in therapy being a collaborative process and I will work with you to provide the help that you need. My goal is to make this the most useful space for you as possible.
I have always believed that it is the strong who seek to change and I look forward to supporting you through this process!

Thank you for working with me!
Amanda has been amazing. Especially when she texts to check in. It’s just what I need to keep me in track. She’s a great listener and provides guidance that is working for me.
She is an amazing person and great counselor. She has helped me through a darkest period of my life.
I like that Amanda doesn’t spoon-feed me answers. It takes hard work to improve yourself, and having her ask pertinent questions makes me reflect and be accountable for myself. When I’m struggling to find those things on my own, though, she is ready with resources. I like that she is always kind, empathetic and patient.
I feel very comfortable speaking with Amanda! She is very understanding and her responses always make me feel like she really understands what I’m going through and want to change.
Amanda, through the minimal amount of exposure I have had with her, is tender and supportive! She provided workshops for me to do on my own and patiently checked in when she hadn't heard from me in a couple days.
Amanda Mott leads by example. Her professionalism, focus, continued support, and authenticity remind me of the goal I have to portray myself in a professional way. She really knows how to do her job.
Very professional, very responsive!
Amanda has helped me to get my anxiety under control. Although it's not about that anymore. It's more about living life to the fullest and accomplishing my dreams.
Amanda is great. She listens to you, and is sympathetic to your situation. In addition, she offers ways of improving yourself: your train of thought, and adjusting your behaviors. She never assumes nor judge. Pretty much everything you want in a therapist.
Amanda has been more helpful than most therapists Ive made in-person appointments with. Shes also very quick with responses.
Amanda is, by far, the best counselor I have had the pleasure of working with. She utilizes many very helpful analogies, real-life comparisons and is attentive and genuinely caring. She will listen and actually hear what your needs are and will help you to implement tools to use that are consistent with what issues you're looking to resolve.
Amanda- I cannot thank you enough for the help you have provided to me! :)
I feel Amanda has helped me to identify my issues and come up with several ways to come up with solutions. I like the fact that I don't have to wait for a weekly appointment - sometimes you need to talk right away.
Amanda is very fast in her response to my questions, feelings, thoughts, and concerns. She offers a variety of tools to help my process and is very thorough. I enjoy being able to talk to Amanda Mott very much.
Amanda is great at making me feel heard and understood. She's insightful and good at asking questions to get me to think more about my situation.
Amanda has been the greatest friend in response and showing me I am not alone. She has given me the support and tools I have needed to assist me in my marriage and to help me better understand myself. Most importantly, She has given me the tools to look inside myself and help me focus on the deepest issues that I feel need to be organized and appropriately expressed. Thank you for being so amazing! I couldn't ask for a better therapist!!!
