Amanda Myer, LCSW
About me
The top goal in my practice is to create a space to feel heard, understood, supported, and validated. By trade, I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 4 years of direct therapeutic experience and over 10 years experience in the helping profession. I've practiced in individual, family, and group settings. I have worked with a wide variety of mental health concerns.
My approach is client-driven, solution-focused, strength-based, and trauma-informed. My focus will be to explore the function, patterns, and regulation of your presenting concerns. Then work together to find ways towards self-sufficiency. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
Unknowns can be terrifying. Whether you are trying therapy for the first time, ready to explore a new stressor, or need to revisit past work, even looking at this profile means you are willing to try. I'm here to ease the process, sit with you, and begin to explore future possibilities. In our first contact, we can discuss any questions, concerns, or hesitations you may bring!
I'm looking forward to meeting you where you are!
